Ideal for crunchy salads
Out of StockOur shop no longer sells this product.
Description
This plant features long, broad leaves that are slightly rippled and intensely green. The chard is ideal for a decorative and crunchy salad. The chard leaves are often consumed just like spinach.
Chard is best sown directly in the ground from spring until early summer - when the soil is warm, but not too hot.
Tip:
Plant the chard 1 cm deep in rows at a distance of about 30 cm. The chard is fairly tolerant of hot weather, but the best results are achieved in cool to moderate temperatures.
