The hedgehog is a beneficial animal in the garden and especially useful in fighting snails. This pretty hedgehog house offers our little ally a safe place to hibernate all winter long.

It is best to place the hedgehog house in a quiet, shady, weather-protected and undisturbed spot. Place it near a pile of leaves or brushwood close to bushes where the hedgehog can look for insects and snails undisturbed.
Starting around the end of October hedgehogs go into hibernation and should not be disturbed. The house should be put up in early autumn and stay in place until May.
