Sonnenerde Organic Tomato & Vegetable Compost - Bulk Bag, 1 item

Now available in a convenient bulk bag!
Tomatoes, vegetables and chillies thrive in high-quality compost that meets all their growing requirements. Made from organic compost, expanded clay, wood fibre, soft rock phosphate and horn shavings, this organic tomato and vegetable compost provides everything needed for vigorous growth.

Tip: Due to its particularly high water retention capacity, take care not to overwater your plants.

• Promotes vigorous growth, robust plants and high yields
• No additional fertiliser required throughout the growing season
• Completely peat-free
• Excellent structural stability ensures good root aeration and prevents the compost from settling
• Horn shavings act as a slow-release nitrogen reserve (they are gradually broken down by fungi, so white fungal growth is normal)
• Ideal for filling pots, containers, window boxes and planters

As this compost is completely peat-free, it helps protect wetlands and reduce the CO2 emissions associated with peat extraction, making a valuable contribution to environmental and climate protection.
