Sonnenerde Organic Stone Dust in a Big Bag, 1 ton

The rock dust for this product comes from the company Aspanger Bergbau; a byproduct of the processing of mica into powder for paints and varnishes. It can be successfully stored and is easy to use. Since the grain size is mostly below 10 micrometres, its effects can be quickly seen.

This rock dust positively changes the microbiology of the compost, as well as supplying valuable trace elements and minerals. In addition, it binds nutrients and odours. This makes it an extremely valuable additive to compost in agriculture and home gardens.

Usage
Regularly sprinkle the rock dust over your compost material, especially if it is wet waste. Make sure to mix the dust into the compost material and not just layer it. The better the rock dust is mixed in, the better it works.

In agriculture, the dust should be 5-10 vol% of the stack.
