Description
This variety ripens early and forms medium green and very sweet pods. This pea is suitable as a raw food as well as in salads, and is a delicious gourmet vegetable.
Our tips:
- Germination temperature: from 8°C soil temperature, optimally 20°C
- Self-supporting - does not require any climbing aid
- Sowing under foil or fleece is possible
- No nitrogen fertilisation and manure
- Normal basic fertilisation when preparing the soil is sufficient
- Process immediately after picking - after 2 to 3 days, the sugar is converted to starch and the peas become floury and bitter
- Ideal variety for freezing
