Description
This biennial plant forms only basal, ground-hugging greenery in the first year, but grows up to 2 m tall in the second year and bears attractive violet flowers in July and August, which are popular with bees and are also suitable as cut flowers. Its preferred locations are bright herbaceous meadows and roadsides without direct sunlight.

- Do not cover the seeds with soil, but only press them down lightly
- Germination temperature: min. 20 °C (place in a cooler spot after germination)
- Keep the substrate moist but not wet
- Prefers moist soil
