Description
The French Breakfast variety is a mildly-spicy, fast-growing variety. The cylindrical radishes have red skin and white bulbous tips. The medium-early variety is perfect for early summer planting. Their proportion of whiteness increases over the summer and they get spicier the longer they stay in the ground. They are great for soups, salads, sandwiches or veggie trays.
- Tip: The plants germinate in the cold, so they need a germination period of about 7 days at 5 - 10 degrees before germination. To avoid radish flies, protect the radishes with a fleece cover or vegetable net.
