Description
Fenugreek has been known as a spice, medicinal herb, and food plant for around 5,000 years. Both its leaves and its seeds are edible. It is also suitable for growing sprouts.
Our tips:
- Suitable for outdoors and containers
- Keep the substrate evenly moist but not wet until germination
- Caution: Protect the sowing area from birds
- Requires loamy, somewhat dry soil
- Choose a deep planter because of the taproots
- The sprouts can be harvested just a few days after germination; the leaves after six weeks, and the seeds after 12 weeks
