Description
The Black Bat Flower is a tropical flower native to the rainforest. It feels at home in semi-shady locations and appreciates it if you spray it frequently with low-calcium water. The violet bracts feature approx. 40 centimetre long barbels with a small flower in the middle.
Tips for growing:
- Scatter the seeds on moist potting soil and cover them lightly with soil
- Cover with cling film and punch holes in it
- Remove the film for about 2 hours every two to three days
- The substrate should be kept moist but not wet
