Nettle Pellets is a pure, natural botanical product derived from stinging nettles and pressed into convenient pellets using a specialised process. When mixed with water, these pellets allow you to brew your own traditional "Nettle Liquid Feed" (Nettle Jauche). After a fermentation period of several days, the nutrient-rich extract can be diluted for watering or spraying. It is an outstanding supplement for "heavy feeders" such as cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, and squash.

Preparation & Application

Standard Use: Apply to fruit, vegetables, and ornamentals every 14 days throughout the growing season (approx. 1 litre/m² for soil drenching).

• Brewing the Nettle Feed:
  • Mix 150g of Nettle Pellets with 10 litres of water.
  • Promote the fermentation process by stirring the mixture daily.
  • The process is complete after 7–10 days.
• Dilution Guide:
  • Soil Drench (Watering): Dilute the fermented extract to a 10% solution (e.g., mix 1 litre of nettle feed with 9 litres of water).
  • Foliar Spray: Mix 2 litres of fermented extract with 3 litres of water. Pass through a sieve before filling your sprayer to prevent clogging.

Specialised Application Tips

• Tomatoes: Water generously with the solution, especially during the first flowering phase.
• Heavy Feeders: Brassicas, cucumbers, squash, and fast-growing perennials are highly responsive to the nitrogen-rich boost provided by nettle feed.
• Fruit Trees: Use as a foliar spray after flowering to positively influence fruit set.
• Raspberries: Apply once a week until the foliage shows a deep, healthy green.

Note: Nettle pellets are a preventative and revitalising supplement; they should be used to enhance—not replace—a balanced organic fertilisation routine.
