Application
Prepare the soil by creating an even surface with as little plant residue as possible. The area should be absolutely free of problematic root weeds such as Bindweeds or thistles.
Sow from April to October, at temperatures above 10 ° C and before the beginning of humid weather. The optimal sowing time is between the end of April and July.
Per square metre, you should use about 6-7 grams of seed. Sow but do not overwork the seeds into the ground. Tilling the soil helps for uniform germination of the seeds. In humid weather, it takes about 2-5 weeks before the first seeds sprout.
During the first 4 weeks after sowing, you should keep the sown area permanently moist so that the seedlings do not dry out. In windy and dry weather, water several times a day and if necessary, cover the area with fleece.
If many unwanted weeds develop, cut them back after 8-10 weeks. At the same time, you can also ensure that the plants that germinate later receive enough light and water. Be sure to remove the clippings.
