Description

Red clover is a proven green manure crop and makes a significant contribution to improving garden soil. The taproots loosen the soil and contain nitrogen-fixing bacteria on their nodules that enrich the soil with nitrogen. It is the ideal crop for sowing before planting vegetables such as cabbage and leeks (heavy nutrient requirements).
