Description
Thyme is one of the popular culinary herbs because the plants are perennial, easy to care for and do not need much space. The "Tim" variety grows white flowers in the summer and has a spicy Mediterranean scent and intense aroma. Thyme is strong growing and is resistant to frost. Together with oregano, garlic, rosemary and basil, thyme embodies Italian cuisine and is used in numerous meat, fish and pasta dishes. In medicine, thyme is used as a remedy for sore throats and as an antiseptic for bruising and sprains.
