Our tips:

• The seed mat can be put out under fleece from February
• Germination temperature: 10-16°C
• When laying out the seed mat, water before covering with soil to ensure a solid connection to the ground
• Row spacing: 30-35cm
• Always keep moist
• Requires loose, humus-rich soil - heavy soils are unsuitable
• Fertilise very carefully - lettuce is sensitive to salt
