De Bolster Runner Bean "White Emergo"

This productive, vigorous traditional variety grows white flowers and beans.

Plant: From mid-May to early June, plant in warm soil. Soak the seeds in chamomile tea before sowing. Plant with supporting poles at a distance of 75 x 75 cm. Place 3-4 sticks in a tipi-like shape and plant 3 beans on the inside of each stick. Cover these beans with about 2 cm of damp soil. You can also plant between poles that are placed 3 - 4 m apart. Stretch iron wires across the poles - one at 10 cm above the ground, the other at eye level. Reinforce vertically by tying strings at 30 cm intervals. Plant 3 beans at the base of each of these strings. Row spacing: 1.25 m.
