Description
These flowers grow in yellow, orange and red colours. The leaves and flowers are edible. The plant attracts bees.
The leaves and flowers have a mustard-like taste and create a nice visual and culinary enrichment for any salad. Planted at the foot of fruit trees they keep aphids away.
They also make great cut flowers. The young, green seed capsules can be put into vinegar as a caper substitute.
Sowing: indoors sow in April in the house. Plant outdoors mid-May.
