De Bolster Broad Beans "Ratio"

A very early variety (about 10 days earlier than the Eleonora variety) with bulging pods and nice beans. Enjoy the beans raw or in salads. The beans can also be used as a meat replacement in stews and chillies because of the high protein content.

The flavourful beans have a very good yield. Due to the compact growth and the strong branching, the plant remains bushy and stable. The undemanding beans grow on all soils, enriching them with nitrogen. Planting one bean in each hole during potato cultivation promotes growth and health!

Sow: Soak overnight in water or cold chamomile tea. They can be harvested early if they are planted under glass in February and planted outdoors in April.

Harvest: If planted early, harvest at the end of May, otherwise harvest in June. Take the beans out of the pods as soon as the pods start to change colours.
