De Bolster Broad Beans "Express Eleonora"

This strong and stable plant makes a wonderful windbreaker to protect less sturdy plants. The early variety has fragrant white flowers and long, green pods.

The pods contain many beans that can be enjoyed freshly harvested in vegetable stews. The tasty beans make a great protein-rich meat substitute with a strong taste. The undemanding plants grow on all soils, enriching them with nitrogen. Plant one bean in each planting hole when planting potatoes for healthy growth.

Plant: Soak the seeds overnight in chamomile tea. From February to April, plant directly outdoors in the open air. Plant in rows spaced at 60 cm, in rows 15-20 cm long. For an earlier harvest, plant the seeds indoors in a greenhouse in February. Plant outdoors in April.
