Description
With its fine, bitter aroma, sage is a popular ingredient in a variety of pasta and meat dishes. Sage is also highly valued as a medicinal plant. It contains valuable tannins and bitter substances as well as oils and can be processed into tea and tinctures. Its beautiful purple flowers also make it an attractive flowering plant in the garden.
