Description
Fresh dill is versatile in the kitchen. Its delicate leaves refine numerous dishes with their subtle, sweet-lemony taste, from salmon rolls to soups and sauces. However, it is not very suitable for freezing and drying as it quickly loses its wonderful aroma.
Our tips:
- Low maintenance cultivation in the garden
- Not well suited for small pots
- Requires nutrient-rich, loose and well-drained soil
- Pay attention to sufficient watering
- Weeds should be removed regularly
- The dill tips can be harvested from a height of 15 cm
- The whole plant can be harvested from a height of 30 cm
- Weak consumption of nutrients
- Suitable for balconies
- True to type seeds
- Good neighbours: celery, tomatoes, potatoes, lettuce, beans, spinach
- Bad neighbours: mustard, garlic, onion, strawberries
- Crop rotation: 4 years
