The Delikatess Blue has a purple tuber and is a sparse leaved variety that remains tender for a long time. The kohlrabi is very fast growing and therefore well suited for early cultivation. It tastes especially delicious steamed or stewed, as a garnish, finely chopped in a salad or for stews.
