Description
Compact, high-yielding plant that produces light creamy-yellow pods with 6 to 7 beans in each. The beans can be used in many types of dishes. The plant grows slowly and can be harvested in autumn.
Italian Recipe:
Hearty Ham Bean Soup.
- Remove the beans from the pods and cook until tender.
- Add ham, carrots, and celery and onions.
- Add mustard and bay leaves and stir well. Simmer.
- Serve with (Italian) bread.
