Sperli Radish "Topsi"
Raphanus sativus L. var. Sativus with a mild taste
The Topsi variety is a red, round radish. The tubers grow quite large and have a mild flavour. This variety is equally suitable for spring and summer sowing and can be grown year-round in a greenhouse.
Radishes are extremely versatile for garnishes, salads, veggie platters, soups and sandwiches. This variety is particularly resistant to furriness or woodiness.
- Tip: The plants germinate in the cold, so they need a germination period of about 7 days at 5 - 10 degrees before germination. To avoid radish flies, protect the radishes with a fleece cover or vegetable net.
