Description

The Gran Gigante is one of the largest types of pumpkins. Each individual plant needs about 7 m² to grow, as they only grow one pumpkin per plant. The firm, yellow-orange pulp has a high water content and can be boiled or steamed. This variety is ideal for sweet and sour canning and is also a popular winner for championships. The Gran Gigante variety is the world's largest pumpkin in the Guinness Book of Records.
