Description
The Pepino melon grows extremely delicate fruit whose sweet taste is reminiscent of pears and honeydew melons. The plants are not winter hardy and will not survive a frost. They make wonderful plants for hanging planters or planters.
Tip: For optimal fruit development, it is best to support the plants on rods and tie them regularly like you would tomatoes. The fruit can be harvested as soon as it turns yellow-orange.
