Description
The Wu-Wei-Zi berry has been known in China since time immemorial and is very popular due to its unique flavour. The berries address all five flavours, - sweet, sour, spicy, salty and bitter. The climbing plant is also ideal for greening up pergolas but requires a climbing aid.
Sowing tips:
- Place the seeds in warm water overnight
- Sprinkle onto moist potting compost
- Cover with cling film and poke a few holes in it
- Remove the film for 2 hours every two to three days
- Germination can take several weeks
