Saflax Mammillaria Mix

This coloruful Mammillaria mix contains a selection of the most attractive cactus plants - a delightful variety for cactus enthusiasts. The enchanting flowers appear from spring until early summer.

Our tips:

• During cultivation, scatter the seeds directly onto moistened potting substrate - ideally 75% cactus soil and 25% sand - and do not cover with soil (light germinator!)
• Cover the cultivation container with cling film and provide air holes to protect the soil from drying out
• Remove the film every two to three days for about two hours to prevent mold formation
• Place the cultivation container in a bright and warm place at 20 to 25°C
• Protect green species with few thorns from direct midday sun
• The summer can be spent in a sunny spot outdoors
• Ideally cultivate in a wide bowl, as the plants like to form groups
• Water evenly during the growth phase
• Water from below by placing the pot in a bowl filled with water
• fertilise every four weeks with liquid cactus fertiliser during the growth phase
• Repot in spring
• Overwinter in a cool and bright place at 8 to 10°C
