My Little Farm Dr Liebig German Standard 10 Bee Escape

This bee escape serves to shield the honey chamber from the scent of the queen bee, in order to facilitate the extraction of the honeycomb. It is placed between the honey chamber and the brood chamber the day before the honey harvest, so that the scent of the queen won't reach the brood chamber and the bees migrate from the honey chamber to the queen. The next day, simply remove the honeycomb without being disturbed by bees.

• Can also be used as an additional intermediate shelf in the beehive (then simply close the bungholes with the supplied cover plates and open the entrance hole)
• When using as a bee escape, close the flight hole, remove the cover plate and insert the ring channel supplied
