Tatsoi is a variant of Pak Choi. The dark, round, thick leaves can be prepared both raw or the way you would spinach.

  • Uncomplicated cultivation - germinates and grows quickly
  • Quite frost hardy
  • Rotary cultivation recommended to avoid infestation with clubroot
  • Initially, protection against the cold is required on cold nights
  • Quite hardy and storable for a long time
  • Always keep moist.

Directly outdoors or in a cold frame from March to July, and from mid-August to mid-September. Do not sow too closely together. Transplant as soon as the first real leaves appear. Transplant to 30x30 cm.

The first leaves can be harvested 4-5 weeks after sowing. Always cut the outer leaves so that the heart can grow back.
