Bionana Organic Root Parsley

Root parsley is the ideal vegetable for purees and soups, adding a spicy taste. Its leaves are similar to those of the flat-leaf parsley, but they grow larger.

Our tips:

• Suitable for open beds and greenhouses
• Requires a medium-heavy, deep, humus-rich soil
• Loosen the soil before sowing and enrich it with compost
• Requires plenty of water during the growth phase
• Always keep the soil moist, but avoid waterlogging
• Remove weeds regularly
• Can be stored in a dark and cool place with a temperature a little over 0°C - clean off any soil residue beforehand and wrap in paper
• Medium fertilisation requirements
• Strong seeds
• Suitable for balconies
• Good neighbours: strawberries, leeks, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers
• Bad neighbours: dill, carrot, fennel, chervil, celery
• Crop rotation: 5 years
