Description
This low-maintenance and very productive variety makes tall, vigorous plants with large and densely filled florets. These are harvested between late autumn and the beginning of winter and are delicious both as a side dish and as a main course. The florets can also be frozen.
Our tips:
- Requires a loose, deep, loamy, humus-rich soil
- No-till sowing is not recommended
- Moderately suitable for balconies
- Heavy consumer of nutrients
- True to type seeds
- Good neighbours: carrots, legumes, Swiss chard, celery
- Bad neighbours: leek , potatoes, cabbage
- Crop rotation: 3 to 4 years
