Description

The "Blauwschokker" is an early-maturing heirloom pea variety that can reach heights of up to 1.80 m. It is highly ornamental, featuring stunning deep-violet blossoms and striking purple pods. While the pods are dark, the peas inside remain a vibrant green and have an excellent shelf life.

Our Tips:

  • Sowing Rate: Approx. 30 seeds per linear metre (approx. 2 kg per 100 m²).
  • Timing: Sow shelling (round) and mangetout peas from March onwards; wait until April for wrinkled-seeded varieties.
  • Optimal Density: Approx. 80 plants per m².
