Description

This perennial culinary and medicinal plant is suitable for autumn planting through to September. It can be used in a variety of ways in the kitchen and provides a wonderful lemon aroma without the acidity.

Our Tips:

  • Direct sowing is not recommended
  • Start seeds indoors: from mid-March, planting from May
  • Light germinator - do not cover seeds with soil during sowing; simply press them down gently
  • Caution: Young plants are sensitive to frost
  • Self-seeding
  • Requires nutrient-rich, warm soil that does not get too dry
