Bavicchi Organic Romanesco Fennel, 5 grams

Fennel is a vegetable and a spice plant. Traditionally, it is usually served with fish, but it is also mixed with sauces and minced meat.

• Finely chopped fennel leaves can also be used to season soups and salads.
• The seeds are similar to anise, they can be used for spice mixtures or for teas.

Tip:

• The fennel prefers light, loose and well-fertilised soils.
• Fennel is best sown directly outdoors. Plant in early summer, in rows of 40-45 cm apart.
