Description
Endives are a delicate autumn vegetable that are slightly bitter. Enjoy as a salad or eat Italian style with fresh olive oil and balsamic vinegar. You can also steam the leaves and serve them as a side dish for meat dishes. Bionda has large, yellowish green leaves and bright yellow hearts. The plants are resistant to wet and cold weather and even light frost.
