Tomato Seeds

Tomatoes love the sun and thrive in warm, even hot, conditions. With fruits in all shapes, sizes and colours, from small or large to yellow, red, round or pear-shaped, tomatoes are wonderfully versatile. Specially twisted metal supports are available for tomato plants, although wooden stakes can also be used. As much as they enjoy sunshine, tomatoes should be protected from rain, as they are sensitive to wet conditions. Harvesting can begin in July and continue well into autumn. Tomatoes should never be stored in the fridge, as this causes them to lose their wonderful aroma.
