Sweet Corn Seeds
Sweet corn is probably a mutation of common corn but in this plant, the conversion of sugar into starch is much slower than usual. The corn grows tall and grassy and can be grown as a privacy screen for the balcony or terrace.
Corn is a sun lover but should always get enough water. Although sweet corn can also be eaten raw, it is usually boiled or grilled. When cooking in hot water (add a little sugar!), cook until soft, then sprinkle with salt and a little butter.
