Cleaning tips: For uncomplicated and thorough cleaning in autumn, the roof of the nesting box can simply be unscrewed. During the breeding season, the box remains closed so as not to disturb the young birds. Cleaning is best done when wearing gloves and using a brush and clear water. To protect the birds, the use of chemicals should be avoided.
