Thompson & Morgan Nigella

This popular country garden plant grows spectacular double flowers in wonderful shades of blue. It looks irresistible, calming and adds an elegant note to your garden. The flowers also look lovely dried.

The seeds have a strong aroma and a spicy taste. They can be used as a spice for cakes, bread and curries.

Sowing:

• Prepare the soil so that it is fine and crumbly and remove any large stones. Planting depth: approx. 5-10 mm deep, in rows with a distance of approx. 30 cm.
• For potted plants in the spring/summer: sow in a cool greenhouse or conservatory in the late summer or early autumn.
