Description

A bushy plant that produces a lot of bright green, pointed leaves. The leaves develop a fresh lemon flavor when they are rubbed together or crushed. The plants are quite resistant and tolerate many weather conditions. An attractive ornamental plant with white flowers, it is also edible and is ideal in pots on balcony or terrace. Was honored by the British Royal Horticultural Society "RHS".

Serving
Due to the warm, spicy taste, this basil is good for Mediterranean dishes. The leaves retain their flavor better when they are not cut, but torn.
