The mineral plant substrate offers plants an optimal air-water ratio, a stable pH value and acts as a reservoir for water, nutrients and fertiliser, which it gives back to the plants individually and as required.

Thanks to the excellent drainage capacity of the substrate, waterlogging has no chance. It consists of high-quality zeolites, pumice and light lava and remains structurally stable because, compared to earth, the substrate can neither compact nor clump.

Due to its purely mineral basis, the substrate does not offer any surfaces for fungi or pests.
