Description
Kiepenkerl red clover is a long-standing green manure. This contributes significantly to the health and improvement of the garden's soil. The yield and quality of subsequent crops such as vegetables and flowers can be increased by the additional nutrient storage. The strong taproots loosen the soil and provide extra nitrogen. Kiepenkerl red clover therefore is particularly well-suited as a pre-culture of plants that need a lot of nitrogen, such as cabbage and leeks. At the time of flowering, the area turns into a thriving, rich pink sea of flowers. Kiepenkerl red clover is also a high-protein forage crop for many domestic animals.
