The delicate flowers of this corn poppy variety are burgundy red with fine silver grey stripes. Corn poppies tolerate drier locations and tend to self seed. As the roots are relatively sensitive, the saplings should be planted in the garden along with the pot. Direct sowing outdoors is also acceptable.
