This bolt-resistant, high-yielding and robust variety forms deep red, round tubers. They are juicy and have a mildly spicy taste, are just as delicious as salad vegetables as they are canned, and are also suitable as colouring agents.

Our tips:

• Storage crops are best sown in May and June
• Germination temperature: 25°C
• Sensitive to night frosts
• Separate the plants if necessary for better development
• Requires a well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich, moist, deep, and not too acidic soil
• Avoid over-fertilisation
• Baby beds can be harvested 5 to 6 weeks after sowing
• Store in a cool, frost-proof cellar
