Description

The "Duttingold" tomato variety is characterised by vigorous growth and a robust nature, making it exceptionally well-suited for outdoor cultivation. The medium-sized fruits are highly resistant to splitting and typically reach a weight of approximately 60 grams. They feature a bright yellow colour and a firm texture. Their flavour is pleasantly aromatic with a subtle, refreshing acidity.

Cultivation Tips: Avoid sowing tomato seeds too early; once germinated, move them to a cooler location to prevent "leggy" growth. After the "Ice Saints" (mid-May frost risk), harden the plants off for a few days before planting out. A sheltered, covered spot helps protect against late blight. Finally, applying a layer of mulch helps retain soil warmth and protects the cold-sensitive root system.
