Description

This fast-growing and robust variety produces cylindrical, pure white roots, approximately 10 to 12 cm in length. They are prized for their mild yet pleasantly peppery flavour.

Our Tips:

  • Sowing Rate: 200–300 g per 100 m²; approx. 30–40 seeds per linear metre.
  • Sowing: Can be sown directly in a cold greenhouse from late January, or outdoors under horticultural fleece from mid-February.
  • Soil: Undemanding; this variety has no specific soil requirements.
  • Watering: Ensure a consistent water supply to prevent the radishes from becoming "woody" (pithy) or excessively hot and spicy.
  • Pest Control: Regularly hoe the soil surface to loosen it or grow under fleece to protect the crop from flea beetles.
