Description
This Batavia lettuce variety is very robust and suitable for cultivation throughout the entire outdoor season. The heads feature light green hearts and upright outer leaves. They can remain in the bed for a long time once mature and delight with their aromatic flavour.
Our Tips:
- Germination temperature: 10 to 15°C (max. 18°C)
- Ideal as "Baby-Leaf"
- Very long harvest window
- Summer sowings should be done in the evening and shaded with fleece — temperatures above 20°C can hinder or prevent seed germination
- Do not sow too deeply
- Bolting is a stress response — caused by being planted too densely, or by being too dry or too hot
