Description

This vigorous, healthy variety produces beautifully shaped, approx. 20 cm long fruits with smooth skin and excellent flavour. It is resistant to powdery mildew.

Our Tips:

  • Start early indoors: in heated greenhouses from mid-February, planting mid-March; for unheated greenhouses (cold frames) from early April, planting early May
  • Sowing rate: direct sowing 20 to 30 g per 100 m²
  • Germination temperature: 23 to 26°C
  • Caution: Mixed-flowering varieties should not be planted in the same greenhouse as all-female (parthenocarpic) cucumbers.
  • Seedlings should be as small as possible when transplanted and must continue to grow rapidly after planting
  • Very high heat requirements - only grows at temperatures above 12°C
  • Leave a gap of 4 years before growing in the same patch of soil again
