Description

This dark green organic romaine lettuce is an Austrian specialty and is very resilient even at cooler temperatures. It forms heads of an ideal size and is perfect for a delicious fresh salad as well as for cooking.

Our tips:

  • Pre-culture from February, direct sowing from April
  • Optimal germination at 15°C soil temperature
  • Harden off before planting out
  • Cover seeds with soil to the thickness of the seed
  • Requires a consistent water supply
  • Sow evenly on a prepared outdoor bed
  • Requires loose, humus-rich soil
