Description
This variety of forage kale is particularly profitable and withstands strong frosts. It is especially good for small animals (eg rabbits) throughout the year and for mixtures for game (particularly in autumn and winter). 'Frostara' is characterized by a stable, 70 cm high, stable plant with broad, curly leaves that are highly resistant to premature leaf drop in unfavorable weather and inherently resistant to the leaf spot disease (Alternaria). The bluish-green leaves contain many vitamins, crude proteins and bioactive substances, which throughout the year and especially in winter offers a high quality food source favored by animals.
